The participant and programme data being reported here is July 2019 - September 2019, however behaviour change indicators use the data collected since the start of this phase (January 2019). 

For the second straight quarter the programme has supported over 500 new participants to take part in physical activity. 16 new community activities have been developed across the county within this three months too.

30% of participants that have joined the programme since January 2019 have been inactive at the point of initially joining. This means they are doing less than 30 minutes moderate intensity physical activity per week. At the first follow up point, which is 12 weeks after initially joining the programme, only 14% of all participants are doing less than 30 minutes moderate intensity physical activity per week. That is at least half of the previously inactive participants are now doing some meaningful physical activity.

64% of participants recorded incremental improvements in physical levels; either from inactive to fairly active, fairly active to active, or inactive to active.

47% of participants that were not doing enough physical activity when they joined the programme are now achieving the Chief Medical Officers (CMO's) recommended levels of physical activity at 12 weeks after joining the programme, 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity per week.
