A new buggy walk has launched in Cambourne

November 20, 2017

It is a well known fact that many new mums struggle to be as active as they should be, but having a baby shouldn’t stop you being able to exercise!

Following some consultation with new mums about what could help parents to be more active; a new buggy walk has started in Cambourne.

The walks have been going for a few weeks now and have proved really popular. One buggy walker said, “The social element makes going for a walk much more appealing and allows parents to meet new people”.

The group meets on a Monday, 11.15am outside The Blue School, and explores the footpaths and bridleways of Cambourne for approximately 45 minutes. Afterwards the group sometimes goes for a hot drink and a chat.
