What is Let's Get Moving Cambridgeshire?

Let's Get Moving Cambridgeshire aims to improve the health of the Cambridgeshire population, specifically by increasing levels of physical activity. This will be done by promoting existing opportunities, developing new opportunities, and supporting individuals that require support to achieve their goals.

This programme has been funded by Cambridgeshire County Council Health Committee, working in partnership with the five District Councils across Cambridgeshire (Cambridge City Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, Fenland District Council and East Cambridgeshire District Council) and Living Sport (the Active Partnership for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough).

A district coordinator will lead on Let's Get Moving Cambridgeshire in each of the districts; providing support to individuals, communities, clubs and other organisations in order to develop accessible opportunities and engagement in physical activity. You can find out more about the district coordinators by clicking below.

"But I need help..."

Everyone knows how important being physically active is on your health and wellbeing, so why are over 20% of us not doing any meaningful physical activity?

How will 'Let's Get Moving Cambridgeshire' help those who need some support to be more physically active?
